Description | Wa'ikhana is an endangered Eastern Tukanoan language. Originally, it was spoken along the Papuri river, both on Brazilian and Colombian sides. Nowadays, many traditionally communities were abandoned and speakers moved to nearby towns. The exact number of speakers of the language is unknown due to this dispersal of the Wa'ikhana population.
