New Collection: Chol Collection of Juan Jesús Vázquez Álvarez and Jessica Coon

AILLA would like to announce the publication of a new public collection of materials on Ch'ol, a Maya language of Mexico known to its speakers as Lakty'añ. The Chol Collection of Juan Jesús Vázquez Álvarez and Jessica Coon features nearly 40 hours of audio and over 4 hours of video recordings of Ch'ol. Almost half of these have been transcribed and/or translated into Spanish. This collection is just one part of the efforts of the collectors: learn more about their work at their website.
